B.Sc Media science deals with the study of aspects such as – journalism, advertisement, public relations, media management, communication skills, new media, mass communication etc.Media science is also known as media studies. This field deals with the study of different types of media. It primarily deals with mass media.Media plays an important role in our day to day lives. Media are the communication tools used to store and deliver information or data. In other words, it is a medium through which data or information is passed on from the source to the audience.
Eligibility
Minimum educational qualification required to pursue this course is – completed 12th standard from a recognized board.
Duration- The course is three years long.

B.Sc. Media Science graduates have access to different types of job profiles and opportunities. They are usually hired by – broadcast media firms, print media firms, PR agencies, advertising and marketing agencies, internet media firms, TV and radio production firms etc.
